Ask the Experts
The Top Catch Ask the Experts is back again in the new Haurkai Fishing Hall (Hall 1).
This is a great chance to ask some of New Zealand's top fishers for advice on how to improve your gamefishing, soft baiting, kayak fishing, jigging, trolling, popper casting, etc.
The advice is all free and it's available right through the show on the Top Catch stand in the Hauraki Fishing Hall.
Fisherchick Haven
This year's show will also feature a special “haven” for female fishers.
The Bayfisher Fisherchick Haven will feature top female anglers such as Bayfisher's own Paula Trubshaw and Clare Power, Shewee’s Jude Dentice, Ngaire Dalton from the Rockstars Fishing Club and many more.
This special new area will also feature some of the latest products for female fishers and Fisherchick Starter Packs for those new to the sport.
Hiwi the Kiwi and the Minstrel
Come and meet Hiwi the Kiwi at NZ Sport Fishing Stand and see the Minstrel perform his incredible show.
It's great fun for all the family and there are also lots of fun competitions to enter with lots and lots of great prizes.
There will be miniature fishing contests, the chance to have a go at game fishing on one of the simulators (there's one for adults and another for the kids) and the chance to see some of your sporting heroes (from the Warriors and the Blues) battling it out.
