Omaha Queen

Stunning hybrid classic

The stunning hybrid classic, Omaha Queen, was built over a 5-6 year period by Bill Buckley, founder and owner of one of NZ’s most successful businesses, and a well-known speedway and motor racing identity.

Bill got the boat plans for the 5.8m  Chris Craft replica off the internet and used these to build the boat and its wooden trailer. The owner of a motor building company in California, he then modified a midget speedway motor to create a hybrid engine to power the boat. It was launched for the first time on ANZAC day.

It will be on stand 576 in Hall 5.
