How much is a ticket to the show?
$25.00 adult
Children 16 years and under – FREE

Where do I buy tickets for the show?
You can buy E-Tickets on this website prior to the show, simply click on the Buy Tickets tab or through “The Show” drop-down menu . E-Ticket sales close on Wednesday, 11th May 2022 at 10pm.
During the show, tickets are available at entrance Gate 2 on Greenlane Rd and Gate 4 on Puriri Drive.

Are children free? If so, up to what age?
Yes, children 16 years and under are free

If I have lost my ticket can I get it replaced?
Unfortunately no, your ticket is like a banknote so please keep it in a safe place.

If I do not get to the show will my E-Ticket still go into the draw for the Viking Kayaks’ package.
Yes, all on-line E-Tickets automatically go into this draw.

If I do not get to the show will my E-Ticket still go into the draw for the Surtees / Yamaha Grand Prize?
No, you will not go into the draw. To be eligible to enter the Grand Prize draw you must visit all 8 clearly marked stamping booths situated throughout the show and place each stamp in the correct box. Please see ‘How to win the 2022 Grand Prize’ on our Website.

Do I have to be present at the Draw to be eligible for the Grand Prize?
No, the winner will be notified immediately by phone at the number listed on their entry ticket. This call must be answered. If you answer the call at that time, then the prize is yours. If you do not answer the call for any reason whatsoever we are obliged to telephone the next drawn ticket holder who will win the prize upon answering.


Why don’t you have more, smaller Grand Prizes each year?
Over the past 20 years, we have had a variation of prizes including smaller boats, $2000 kayak packages every day, 4 x Zodiac inflatables – one per day. After public surveys and comments from visitors to the show the higher the value of a single boat package the more attendance numbers we achieve.

How will I know who the winners of the prizes are?
Following the prize draws, all winners are  listed on this website.
The Grand Prize draw will also be screened live on our Facebook page: Boat Show New Zealand.

Free shuttle bus to and from Greenlane train station – does this include the train?
The bus is free but does not include the fare on the train.

Can I take my own food and drink to the show?
Yes, you can bring your own food and nonalcoholic beverages to the show.

If I have lost something at the show how do I find out if it has been handed in.
If you are still at the show, check at the Information desk in the foyer of Hall 2. If you have left the showgrounds email admin@boatshow.co.nz.

What is the address if I want to book a taxi or Uber?

Can I park at the venue?
No, there is no public parking at the Auckland Showgrounds.

Where can I park?
There is paid parking at Alexandra Park, entrance on Campbell Crescent (off Manukau Rd). Limited free parking can also be found on surrounding streets and on Puriri Drive.

How do I find out which companies are exhibiting at the show?
From 3rd May a full list of exhibitors will be available on this site.

Is there a wheelchair available at the show?
No, we recommend you bring your own however we do have rental mobility scooters available for hire. Click here for more information.
