Founded in 2006 L’Authentique has been bringing true taste of France to food loving kiwi at markets and discerning retail outlets through-out New Zealand for the past twenty years. Philippe and his team have been bringing a range locally sourced and French styled charcuterie and small goods using technical skill past down through three generation of his family in the Basque region of France.
Our Parfait is made with fresh chicken liver and blended to a “perfect” indulgent mousse – free from dairy – great tasting and a great source of iron and vitamin A, best enjoyed served on a crusty baguette or crackers, with a glass of wine.
All our sausages are handmade ensuring the highest standards, they only contain prime cuts of meat (they contain no starch or flour), are gluten-free and dairy free, and feature a unique coarse grind and freshly milled and toasted seasoning - a range that is ethically perfect with no compromises, just as our French forefathers would’ve eaten.
Or, as we like to say, “made in New Zealand by Imported Frenchmen.”
